A member of the Southland Conference, the Lamar Cardinals have 15 total sports programs, and we're a proud sponsor of all men's and women's teams wearing Cardinal red.

At Philpott Hyundai, we're hoop enthusiasts, which is why we're putting on a half-court shot contest as part of the sponsorship. See if you can sink a half-court shot at halftime of one of this season's home basketball games for the Lamar Cardinals.

There are several Southland Conference home games, including multiple Saturday men's and women's basketball doubleheaders. Be part of the half-court shot contest at any 2024 home game at Neches Arena in Beaumont. Both teams for the Cardinals are in action Jan. 6 (Northwestern State), Jan. 27 (Southeastern Louisiana), Feb. 10 (Nicholls), Feb. 24 (Texas A&M Corpus Christi), and March 6 (Houston Christian).
